The Nordex Group received orders from companies Quaero and Valorem for two wind farm projects in France, with a total installed capacity of 54 megawatts, the German company announced Wednesday.
The projects include a total of 15 N131/3600 turbines in France, specifically designed for medium to very low wind speeds, according to Nordex's statement.
The manufacturer will install the Riaucourt Darmannes with five turbines for its customer Quaero in Haute Marne in the east of France in May 2019 and the Ablaincourt-Pressoir wind farm, equipped with ten turbines, for Valorem in Somme in the north of the country as of summer 2019.
'Both orders include a premium service agreement covering 15 years,' the statement said.
Nordex installed more than 23 gigawatts of wind energy capacity in over 25 markets to date.
