Turkey's AKSA electricity production company completed the sale of its Kozbuku hydropower plant in Ordu, located in the Black Sea coast, for $89.4 million, the company announced on Monday.
Idil Iki Energy Industry and Trade Inc., an affiliate of AKSA, was the owner of the power plant.
AKSA agreed to sell the 81-megawatt (MW) plant to Nas Enerji, which focuses on hydropower projects, on Nov. 24.
AKSA announced the November agreement was finalized today after the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), the Economy Ministry and Turkish Competition Authority ratified the transaction.
