Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority, EMRA, implements a new price ceiling, raising gasoline prices on Monday.
Turkish gasoline prices will rise by an average of 0.04 liras per liter at midnight.
Gasoline prices per liter are set at 4.49 liras in the Turkish capital Ankara, 4.46 liras in Istanbul and 4.48 liras in Izmir.
EMRA, Turkey's energy watchdog, took a decision in late February to regulate gasoline and diesel pricing with the introduction of ceiling prices. The decision gives the watchdog the authority to implement a price ceiling when profit margins exceed the agreed limit.
