Diesel sales in Turkey rose by 27.07 percent to 2.81 million cubic meters in July compared to the same month of 2016, Turkish Oil Industry Association (PETDER) data revealed Thursday.
Compared to the same month last year, gasoline sales increased by 7 percent to 315,880 cubic meters in July 2017.
Autogas LPG sales in July totaled 300,127 tonnes, falling by 5.72 percent from 318,335 tonnes in July 2016.
Additionally, gasoline sales in the January-July period of 2017 rose by 3.30 percent to 1.7 million cubic meters compared to the same period last year.
Diesel sales surged by 8.13 percent to 15.4 million cubic meters over the same period while auto LPG sales saw a drop of 1.71 percent to 2.7 million tonnes.
