Turkey's total oil imports decreased by 7.63 percent, crude oil imports fell by 33.40 percent but an increase was seen in diesel by 44.26 percent in November 2017 year-on-year, according to the country's energy watchdog's report on Wednesday.
Diesel imports increased by 44.26 percent to 1.4 million tonnes and crude oil imports decreased to 1.5 million tonnes in November 2017, Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority (EMRA) said.
Turkey's oil product imports overall decreased to 3.1 million tonnes in November 2017, compared to November 2016.
Aviation fuels increased by 115.6 percent to 46.48 thousand tonnes in November 2017 compared to the same month last year.
Production of total oil refinery products decreased by 24.25 percent to 1.9 million tonnes and diesel production decreased by 34.89 percent to 610 thousand tonnes.
In November, total fuel sales rose by 5.10 percent to 2.4 million tonnes compared to the same month last year.
