The document was signed in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday.
The document also underlines that both parties share general approaches to nuclear power development and its role in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement as part of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
