Eolus completed the 11-megawatt (MW) Anneberg wind farm in Sweden's Tidaholm municipality, and handed it over to German group KGAL, the Swedish wind farm developer announced Wednesday.
In December 2017, Eolus had signed an agreement with KGAL for the sale of the farm, which consists of three Vestas V136 3.6 MW wind turbines.
'All the terms of the agreement Eolus met with KGAL regarding the sale of the wind farm comprising 11 MW are now fulfilled and the buyer has taken up the facility,' Eolus said.
Anneberg will be the first wind farm in Sweden to be deployed with Vestas V136 wind turbines, according to the press release.
In December 2017, Eolus had also signed an agreement with KGAL for the sale of the Sotterfallan wind farm consisting of 10 Vestas V136 3.6 MW wind turbines.
'Eolus will provide technical and administrative services for Anneberg as well as Sotterfallan when that wind farm is completed and handed over to KGAL during the summer of 2019,' it said.
According to the statement, Eolus Vind is one of the Nordic region's leading developers of wind power plants, and has been involved in the construction of more than 540 of the approximately 3,400 wind turbines in Sweden since 1990.
