Russian gas giant Gazprom removed two deputy chairmen, Alexander Medvedev and Valery Golubev, the company announced on Monday.
According to the company, Medvedev will focus on activities of the International Business Congress - an international non-governmental and non-profit organization consisting of 123 member companies, and on his work at the Zenit football club in St. Petersburg.
Alexey Miller, CEO of Russian gas company, thanked Golubev for his many years of productive work at the company, according to the statement.
Medvedev has served as deputy chairman of the board since 2005, and Golubev undertook his position in 2006.
Vsevolod Cherepanov, head of the production department at Gazprom, will change his role but continue working at the company.
