Ozce Mining Co. won the tender for the privatization of a hydropower plant in Afyonkarahisar in western Turkey with an installed capacity of 3 megawatts, Turkey's privatization administration announced Thursday in Ankara.
The company won the tender for the Dinar-2 hydropower plant with a final bid offer of nearly 8 million Turkish liras.
A minimum bid offer limit was set at 50 thousand liras and the opening bid started at 7.85 million liras.
In total, five companies participated in the tender. After the bidding rounds, Kilic Oil Co. along with the winning Ozce Mining Co. proceeded to the final bid round.
US$1 equals 4.14 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
