Turkey's crude oil imports decreased by 24.2 percent to 1.1 million tonnes in November 2018 compared to the same month of 2017, according to a report released by the country's energy watchdog on Monday.
The country's total import of oil products also decreased by 19.3 percent in November to 2.6 million tonnes compared to November 2017, the Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority (EMRA) said.
The production of oil refinery products decreased by 0.8 percent to 1.9 million tonnes. In addition, diesel and gasoline production was down by 31.1 and 10.5 percent, reaching nearly 800 thousand tonnes and 309 thousand tonnes, respectively.
In November, total fuel sales fell by 7.5 percent to 2.3 million tonnes compared to the same month last year.
