Turkey on Saturday extended condolences to Mexico over a deadly oil pipeline explosion in Tlahuelilpan, north of Mexico City.
'We have received the news with sorrow that many people lost their lives and were injured in the oil pipeline explosion in the city of Tlahuelilpan of Mexico,' a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, the people and the government of Mexico and wished speedy recovery to those injured.
At least 66 people were killed, and many others were injured in the blast, Mexican state oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) said earlier on Saturday. Eighty-five others were reported missing.
