Norway's petroleum sales decrease in January
Norway's total sales volume of petroleum products retreated to 602 million liters in January 2019, 9 percent drop compared to the same period last year, according to Statistics Norway on Wednesday.

Statistics Norway said the volume of gasoline sales was at 76 million liters - a decrease of 7 million liters compared to last year.

Sales of diesel amounted to 239 million liters, a decrease of 12 million liters compared to January last year.

Data from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies provide data from which the statistics authority produces monthly figures since 1973.
