New data has revealed that Turkish industrial production rose 3.8 percent in April from the same month the previous year.
Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Monday that the industrial production index remained the same in April compared with the previous month, with a reading of 124.8.
Durable consumer goods saw the largest increase from the previous month, up 1.9 percent in April.
The mining and quarrying index decreased by 4.5 percent, the manufacturing index remained the same, and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 2.1 percent in April, compared with the previous month.
In year-on-year terms the mining and quarrying index decreased by 5.0 percent, the manufacturing index increased by 4.6 percent and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 2.1 percent in April.
