Hydropower produced 94.7 percent of Norway's electricity in June, according to Statistics Norway (SSB) on Monday.
The country produced 9.68 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity in June, out of which 8.08 TWh was consumed.
In addition to hydropower, the country produced 2.5 percent of its electricity from wind power and 2.8 percent from thermal power.
The largest consumption came from the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas and power-intensive manufacturing.
The Nordic country's electricity consumption increased by 1.5 percent in June 2018, compared to the same period last year.
